How do I turn the lightning rods in each room so they face the central pillar??? I'm totally confused.

Ignore the walk through, this is the easy way...

Climb the ladder to get to the first 'lightning rod'. Pay attention. The handle MUST face the left wall. (as in 'the wall on your left as you enter the room'). Go through to the next room. As before, you have to get the handle so it's between the wooden thing it's attatched to and the wall on the left. (yes, as in 'the wall on your left as you enter the room'). It's the same for the third as it was for the last two. Now follow the walkthrough to the room with the glass pyramid and pull the chain. Job done!
