I've killed the knight on the horse, I've got the golden stars - but i need to get back to the hall with the blue doors. i keep getting killed trying to climb back past the spining blades on the pole - is there something I'm missing? I've got a full health bar, but i can't get back up past all 3 blades without dying - HELP!!!

Getting hacked to pieces by the wheels is unavoidable. You just have to use lots of medi-packs. To get down the first hole, jump to the pole, slide down as far as you can before getting sliced, then, when ther wheel's at it's farthest from the pole, drop down, taking vwry little damage. As for climbing up the next one, you just have to chance it and move as fast as you can, regularly using medi-packs.

If you're short on medi-packs, go to opposite where you enter the room with the horseman, there's an opening. Go through it and to the right. Look in one of the left corners. There are some counterweights. If you shoot one of them (I can't remember which) enough times with the crossbow + lasersight, a door opens to the right of them half way up the wall. Climb in because you've earned yourself a large medi pack, shotgun ammo and uzi clips.
Now go back to the room with the two big cogs you pass on the way to the poles with the blades. Face the exit door. The cog on the right hides a secret. Go to the far side against the back wall, hop backwards and hang beneath the cog. Climb down. Don't fall down the corridor: If you get to a drop, hop backwards off it and climb down safely. Follow it to the end and pick up the uzi clips, revolver ammo (and I think) another medi pack. Job done.

thanks - I thought that i'd have to use some medi packs - but how do i use one without dropping back off the pole? Every time i go into the screens to get one I let go! Is there a keyboard shortcut?

Oh! I see... Yes, there's 'Hot Keys'.

Numbers 1-8 select weapons (if you have them)
The number 9 pumps up Lara's health with a large medi-pack, and if you press the number 0 you use a small medi-pack.

Oh, and F5 is a shortcut to Save Game and F6 is a shortcut to Load Game.
