early days question..

Hiya,

This is going to seem like the EASIEST question to you guys, but Last Revelation is my first Lara game, so I'm a bit on the slow side, I'm afraid.

I've reached the point where that guide lights the pool of whatever that was, and Lara's up the top, with the flames coming through the shapes in the floor. And now I'm going around in circles! I've pulled the two obvious chain things, but can't find a lever to open the other grates to either go through to the next bit, or go meet up with the guide guy.

Please help!!

Don't worry, you're not the first to ask this!

Once you get to the room with the patterns on the floor, pull the chain. This lets the guide in to the room below and light the water. You'll notice now that certain tiles on the floor are illuminated. You have to get to the tile on the far wall by jumping from tile to tile - only touching the illuminated ones. Once you get to the far tile, the end gate will open, allowing you to continue the game.

If you get to the far tile and the gate doesn't open, you've not stayed on the illuminated tile. Leave the room (without catching on fire) and try again. The other chain you found at the bottom of the slide opens a gate letting you back up to the puzzle room, by which time the puzzle's been reset.

Jump from the middle of the tiles - it's easier.
