Big Gap at City of the Dead

There is a big gap in the stage 'City of the Dead'. According to the official walkthrough, I can cross it over if i accelerate the motor to full speed. However, I failed many and many times. It seems be impossible to cross over even accelerate to full speed as the gap is really too large!

If you're where I think you are then you could be trying to cross the wrong gap. I had problems with this level too. You need to go back to the small ramp and crash through the barrier which will then drop you through the floor into the next part.

Yep, you're in the wrong bit. The gap you're on about can only be jumped when you come back to the City of the Dead after equiping your bike with nitrous to pick up a secret.

Actually...you can make the jump without the nitrous canister and I'll tell ya why. I too got confused and was at the wrong jump. ( yes moderaors make mistakes too! haha) Anyway I made the jump, you just have to be at max speed on the left hand side. Your reward is some ammo and a health pack.
