After finally finishing TR4 have just bought Tr 1,2, and 3 but am now having problems installing TR1. I have a yamaha DS-XG soundcard which is not listed in the soundcard options in the start up menu. Also if I select "no Soundcard" the graphics are very poor.

Select "SoundBlaster compatable soundcard" in the audio option dialog box. Also install one of the accelerator patches if needed (www.trchronicles.com/tr1/) which might improve the visual effects somewhat.
