A Tomb Raider Question

Does anybody know if Tomb Raider Next Generation is the last Tomb Raider game coming out? Did they say anything about planning, or at least thinking about making another game for PS3?

Wasn't Last Revelation meant to be the,er, Last Revelation? Isn't that why they called it Last revelation? Saving the world is a climactic sorta thing to be doing, isn't it?

I think that TRC was a bit of an excuse to release the Level editor, really... but don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining :D
Maybe they wanted to finish off the story of how she was found- they probably didn't want to do that in NG.
They did make a big thing about TLR because they'd changed a load of stuff and made things better, but there wasn't much change between The Last Revelation and Chronicles.
They probably wanted to release the level editor so that we could keep playing our TR levels if we don't like NG, and at this rate, many of us won't...

Well, I loved the TR movie, although I don't watch many movies... the last one I saw was... uh, Titanic when it was on last christmas, (and that WAS rubbish). uh, and the only one I've seen since was West Side Story when it was on this christmas just gone (which was brilliant).

But anyway, we don't like NG because it's gonna change Lara and the game beyond all boundries. And they're making her a criminal and putting in loads of adult themes (desperately hoping these adult themes aren't between Lara and Curtis...)
But what's wrong with Tomb Raider? If it's not broken, don't fix it...

Yeah, I agree. I've heard it said that Chronicles was released as an add-on to the Level editor, not the other way around

I don't think the movie changed her that much. Even though in the movie her butler was younger and she lived with some other guy also...NG is going to change her completely I think. In a way that only some people will like. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Her father was dead
She wasn't all polite and aristocratic (at one point she &lt;shock,horror&gt; put her feet up on a chair :eek:
Her house was different
She had black hair
Her outfit was black
She looked different (I suppose that couldn't be helped though...)
