Sneek Peak at Next Gen. in the Lara Corft: Tomb Raider DVD?

I receved the Lara Corft: Tomb Raider DVD for Christmas and I was looking at one of the special features entitled "Are You Game?" wich looks at the TR video game phenomenon. In it there were some breef monents of TR game play that I did not reconize (I should have reconize all of them since I have all of the games and won them). I was thinking that some of the game play in it might be form the up cominc Tomb Raider: Next Generation game. Does anyone else know what I am talking about?

hey i got the same problem.i have all the games and finished all of them but i have never seen those things.well if thats going to be in tr:nextgen then i am defintitly have to buy it.they look so cool.

The DVD was not half bad. The movie itself was a good first start for a TR movie series, but I agree with Angelina Jolie Lee that the next movie should be better written. As far as the special features go they were over all better that most special features that other DVDs have. I agree that after looking at those few images on the DVD that I will definitely buy TR: NG. It looks as though that Lara will sell have her classic look which is a good thing since most of the pictures we have seen of TR: NG have been of a Lara out of her element if you get my drift.

I also realized that. If you have a DVD player on your computer, there is a Tomb Raider timeline. It shows when all the games came out and when Tomb Raider Next Generation is coming out also. :D

That was the best movie ever. As a huge Tomb Raider fan, I loved it, and all my friends liked it too, even though they like other games... But anyway, the extra footage (I'm assuming) came from an ad for TR3, Did lara look different? I think there was a dog too, but there is an fmv sequence you can download that shows the whole ad. Go to Tomb Raider Chronicles (http://www.tombraiderchronicles.com) and get into the Next Generation Section, you will find FMV's from several games here. If this is'nt it, I haven't played every second of every game... Maybe I should check out the special features later today... ;)

It was explained the Lara clips are from various commercials and promotions.
Lucazaid (shower of daisies) among others.

There's a scene in there you may not have seen.
It shows a clip of Angelina and dad being interviewed in an emotional moment.

I think somewhere there has to be another missing scene.
The famous butt shot.
I was sure it would be in the deleted scenes.
That may be the scene that was stollen and put on the Web.

I dont think so New-Raider. The the extara on the DVD that I am refering to are those of actual game play that I did not reconize. My conclusion was that it was game play from TR: TNG.

The emotional interview is part of what I guess is called an 'Easter Egg'. What I don't know is if there are anymore.

It appears to me that a couple of scenes in the 'Are You Game?' are possibly from the TR-Next Gen.

There are some things about the movie I liked and a lot of things I did not like. Oh well.

I just saw the clips, and unless they go into flashbacks, none of the clips seen will be in the PS2 game.

Remember, Lara is redesigned now, and doesn't look at all like herself.
The clips you saw that looked like they were in the game, were just as I said, commercials and promotional ads.

It was speculated 2 years ago, that they would use them for the PS2, but Eidos wanted her more realistic in still shots as well as action shots, so the whole thing was scraped last year, and set for this year.
I think they made the right choice, especially with the official Sony modem coming out in a few months!

To get the interview of AJ and dad, go to the special features section and click on the wavey lines at the bottom of the screen.

Another Easter-Egg is on the CD ROM.
Put the mouse on different places on the Jolie/Lara Croft logo and she will change positions.
Click on her on one of these positions, and you will see the CD ROM introduction again.

Another hidden goody is on one of the symbols of the astrologicle chart.
Next to the Tomb Raider timeline is another one.

I've heard durring the floating watch title sequence, if you click on one of it's components fast enough, you can get another secret, but I doubt that that's true.

Angelina Jolie STINKS!She is NOT a good Lara at all!First of all the only thing that would scare people away from her are her HUGE lips!People might be afraid that Angelina might want to kiss them! AHHHH!She would SWALLOW yoU!And another thing,She is WAY to big bined to be Lara!!!And She has GREEN eyes AND LARA HAS BROWN EYES!And SHE can not do the accent if her life depended on it!Angelina Jolie is living A LOT of peoples dreams by playing Lara and she does not even appreaciate it!Thats not my dream,but I know its A LOT of other peoples dream!
