In the beginning of TR , the games came out quikly

Like TR1 comes out in 1996 , a year later TR2 , again a year later TR3 , another year TR4 and then TR5 , Now after TR7 , do you think they will release games a little bit quiker then now taking 3 years for 1 TR ? I hope so , cause i hate waiting especially so long :(

Gaming and computer technology has developped a lot since TR1 came out - also the market has become much more competitive and the production of games has increased.

IMHO, it's expected that games take longer to produce now, since the developpers want to implement the latest technologies and present a product that will be able to compete with the others in equal terms.

I wouldn't worry about waiting, as long as the result is a really good game http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

I agree completely Nicky http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif . The same can be said of any computer game - not just action/adventure ones like TR. Just look at Doom III...that took YEARS of tweaking and programming, but boy did Id deliver after such a storm of anticipation caused by the originals. I hope TR Legend has the same treatment and impact :D .

Don't forget, LaRaMaster, patience is a virtue! (we hope ;) ).

Yes , after TR1 the games came quikly bacause it was all the same engine , if they hold the TR : Legend engine also for TR8 , that must take less time

I hope that the Lara in Legend will be the same that in the future TRs, It'll be annoying to see her change at every new game!... They should keep her model (legend) and add more polygone for the future games. Like they did with the previous TRs. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

I like the wait, it adds more suspense and suprise and stuff like that.
