Let's not forget AoD's most controversial focal point. ;)
Is Kurtis going to return, or do you want him to return?
I think he will return if CD decide to carry on the storyline imo.
I didn't mind him too much until I got to Boaz, so No I wouldn't want him to return myself.

i think he should return but not as a playable character i think if he is in the levels it should just be where you play as lara and kurtis and you are trying to escape its a bit like in tr4 where lara is being guided by the egyption man who is holding the flamed torch

I think Kurtis should come back as part of the story line but i don't think that as a playable character he added anything to AOD! He is a great character though and you could come up with hundreds of different storylines with him plus he and Lara can relate to each other!!! I'll be interested to see what happens next!!!

It would be cool if you beat the game with Lara first, then beat it with Kurtis on his side of the story, and it would be cool for him as a guide like lita212 said ;) . If he is playable, they should make his powers controllable. It would also be nice to have use more than one weapon, and have his chirugai be one of those weapons you can control with his powers and can slash foes with it http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif . They could work on his slowness abit, we all saw how fast he ran in the cut scene at the Louvre.
Yes! It'd be cool if we could play him. He just needs to run faster and be able to be upgraded! :D

Depends.
He was a slower clone of Lara, nothing was really unique about him.
If we could use his telekenetic powers, for example, or anything else that would make him unique, then I would say Yes.
If not, No.

Of course it makes him unique. But it doesn't make him unique if it's uses are only limited to using his blade and the look button.

Kutis can't be karel. If he was karel boaz wouldn't have fought him, and he wouldn't have had one of the shards. Someone said he just told her that so she would trust him.

Kurtis is too slow! The manual says that you can use his chirugai, but I have never been able too...
I don't really see why Kurtis should be in the game. He is not good-looking, he is physically weaker than Lara and he is certainly not as smart as her.
And by the way, is that African Shaman in the game? Her bio is posted on this website but I have never actually seen her in the game...
I guess it would be ok to bring Kurtis back, if they could only speed him up a little bit ;)

NO, lara's partner should have been more well thought out. to me it feels like they just threw a random character at lara and expected us to like him cuz he was in a tr game. i think they have some of the personality right but he looks weird lol. and he moves slow and he doesnt really offer anything to the game. his character is cool but he didnt really have great lines in the game. they should have made him faster more powerful and better guns and stuff and then the fans couldnt not like him.

i thought about the whole think again and i think that they shouldn't bring him back...i mean Lara never needed a partner and i think she's better without it.TR is about her after all and playing someone else in that game just..i don't know..ruins it in a way.Kurtis can still be part of a story,but not part of a game,because Tomb Raider is only about Lara Croft.She is unique.

We are actually on the side of keeping Trent but don't think the fact that Lara is single comes into it. In our opinion Trent added something to the game and the interactions between him and Lara were quite interesting and frustrating at the same time.
His controls were kind of sluggish and we guess something could be done with them but all the suggestions being made about giving him telepathy, making him stronger, making him faster etc individually we wouldn't mind but if you do all of them you're going to eventually make him better than Lara. Although we like Trent and would like to see him in the future we need to remember that Tomb Raider is essentially about Lara and you can't give him a bigger part/a better part than the main character.
If he doesn't make a come back in the next TR game we would at least like to see whether he has survived or not. We think if that's left hanging it will bug us forever!!

Kurtis should definately, definately come back. The whole concept of his character is great. As long as they make him move a bit smoother and give him the ability to do more things it would be good.

but not as a playable caracter, Lara is the best for playing TR, maybe he could stay in home reading a book while Lara get out to raiding some tombs, make an appear occasionally but thatīs all. Maybe he could be in the Croft mansion while she is trainning.

I said this before and I'll say it again, I used to like Kurtis but something happened that made me not like him anymore.
i've decided if Trent is going to stay he should be a friend or lover either would be good for Lara he doesn't have to interfere with her raiding does he now?
