Ok ive heard a new rumor around about the next tomb raider...

rumor - Tomb raider 7 will have an RPG aproach to it. At first your in london after your incedent on angel of darkness. Now instead of going from level to level you will have multiple jobs in certain tombs.
You go to a museum and there after artifacts, they give you a list of tombs and you choose the tomb you want to go and explore and look for any artifacts there.
There will be 15 tombs in the game each with about 6-7 missions and when you complete a mission you get a niiiiccceee reward from the museum director.

No way... missions are a bad idea. That sounds too much like other games.

It's a good idea...but not for Tomb Raider. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif lol There's really no plot or storyline to it at all, and it sounds like there would be no connection to AoD at all to resolve AoD.
Could be an amuzing game, if you don't like to think too much. :rolleyes: There's a reason GTA is called "easy"...

Do not like the sound of that.
I expect there is going to be lots of speculation surrounding the next game until we have offical word from Eidos/Crystal Dynamics.

All we can do is just hope that crystal dynamics know what we all want in the next tomb raider!!

Saturday I sent an email at Crsyatl Dynamics. If they reply me I say all here. But if they don't reply I woul like that you everybody send an email at Crystal Dynamics or Eidos Interactive, and now we have to say all about what we wont! OK?!

I like the idea. Being able to choose your path, looking around for the artefact, rather than it being spoon fed to you. I think this would be great, she is an archeaologist, and archeaologists are hired to recover things. To be able to choose where you go and what you find would be great!
I don't really like that idea either. It might work for other games, but it seems too unlike TR
didnt they have a simelar option in TRIII?

i really dont care anymore. we cant control wat they do with the next game, infact its almost foolish to try. whatever they come out with im gonna try it and its either gonna b good or bad.
as a matter of fact the idea sounds kind of cool. it sounds like crash. lol. w/e it cant b worse then aod. :rolleyes:

If it has a bad storyline then it would be just like AoD and I thought Eidos would have learned from one bad mistake.

I wouldn't mind something like TR3 where after a certain area you could choose where to go next.

Howdy folks. Just to straighten this matter out. Eidos have made no official comments on the next Tomb Raider game. This is purely speculation.
