I really do hope so, but it's VERY unlikely. I can't imagine TRL being shown in Tokyo. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif lol
I agree Boyraider, but then again CD may have a different approach then what Core had. I dunno, we never know these things we just gotta wait for announcements. This wait is sure getting hard, i cant take it no more! we need new information! We need something!!

If I recall correctly, Eidos or CD don't have a stand in the show, so I don't think that anything from TRL will be shown there.
Tomb Raider has never been popular at Japan anyway.
says who? japan is a huge gaming market. of course tr is popular there. even if its not as popular as other games, do u think its more popular in germany than it is in japan? i dont.

Given the fact that adding the TR sold games in USA + Europe markets you almost had the total sum of TR sold games globally, I assumed that it wasn't a big act anywhere else, but I could be (of course) wrong.
Anyway, sure Japan had great & exclusive cover artworks:

It would be interesting if Lara does show up at Tokyo's game show. But I think the main attraction there will be Final Fantasy.
On the third picture in Leonard's post... that's not the Lara i know on the cover. And the lighted eyes in the statue...
That's a complete made in Japan cover-image.
[Edit: i just uploaded it to my webspace in case Leonard might decide to take it down from his... it's a special picture for all to see.]

That's not a bootleg. It's an official release of the first TR game sold at the japanese site of Amazon. LOL.

The last picture posted by Lleonard Pler is not Tomb Raider but Tomb Raiders (plural).
I'm kind a curious, is it a nice game?

Yes but Final Fantasy is absolutley huge there, and im sure its going to but one of the last ever PS2 games, so I think that'll be a pretty big attraction. When I went to Japan in 1999, there was a huge TR poster in the window of some Tokyo gaming store with all three TRs, so I think there must be a fair few fans there.

Final Fantasy XII is probably going to be huge(when it finally decides to come out), but many people are kind of worn out waiting three + years for delays after delays. I think Kindom Hearts 2 is more wanted right now(and I can't wait to hear Utada Hikaru's song "Passion" in it).
TR I think does have a fairly large fanbase in Japan, its just that Eidos doesn't focus on the country as much(advertising wise).
