Lara still doesnt have any fingernails???

Hmmm, i was looking at the spanish magasine pictures and noticed that i cudnt see any fingernails, on the clip where she's touching her glove. Im kind of annoyed and dissapointed, as she didnt have any in AOD either! argh..is it that hard just to add some fingernails?! :rolleyes:
Maybe she'll have them in the movie sequences,but not in game play..which is still annoying.

Just look at cartoons.
While in reality we have 4 fingers and a thumb, toons have only 3 fingers and a thumb, and not all of the characters have ears or a nose bridge.
Most characters don't have nostrils either.
The little details are what makes a good game great I agree, but from a technical standpoint (where breast physics don't always apply), it would be taxing on the engine, and probably expensive for a gamer to "have it all".
FMVs are usually action packed with cropped stills, so you probably won't see them there either.

The fact that Lara didn't have fingernails in AoD disturbed me a great deal. I don't know why but I found it extremely creepy. I really hope they give Lara fingernails in TRL, even if it is just for the in-game movies.

It's strange how in the AOD blooper reel Lara actually had fingernails, with black nail polish.

I forgot about that reel, I had it on my own computer. And I remember the nail polish as well!

Maybe Core thought the polish was too gothic for Lara! :D

I would think if she did have nails she would constantly be breaking one or two (but not whining about it :rolleyes: ) due to all the activities such as switching weapons,reloading, punching out bad guys, jumping the abyss to grab on with the one pinky nail left http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/yikes.gif hanging from and traversing ledges, picking up ammo, using keyboards, flipping metal switches, etc

So she keeps them short for practical reasons - so short I didn't even notice the lack of them in the games. :eek:

I think that adding fingernails would be rather pointless at this stage if they have not already done it. I would rather them focus the little time they have left to meet the supposed Novemeber release on removing any bugs that could ruin what appears to be a well constructed game (judging from the screenshots).
