Help please

Just started LA and am having a very difficult time. First, I couldn't save it - had to come here to find out how.....
Then I pick up stuff and when I go to use it out of inventory, it isn't there!! Nor is it back where I picked it up! Wow, any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Also, I have increased my resolution, but the game is sooooo dark, it is almost impossible to see. Again, any help would be appreciated.

howdy. to solve your save problem, run the game from the windows start menu and not the CD menu.

Thanks for the save info. I did find out how to do that. I am more concerned with losing stuff out of inventory which I have picked up. When I go to use (for instance my crowbar) it is gone! It is also not back in the area where I picked it up.

Also the game is so very dark. Any help would be most appreciated. Thx again.

Did u already use the crowbar,,,,, cuz if u did,,,,,, it wont b there ne more!

And maybe u should buy another monitor!

Thanx for your help. I only picked up the crowbar, then when I go to use it - it is not in my inventory. Also I have a brand new 19" monitor. Perhaps I need glasses - ha already wear em. :(

have you tried changing the gama under the options menu? part of the sunglass submenu. i think the default is 3 you might want to try 10. I had the same problem at first. Good luck.
