View Full Version : 'Lara Croft is Mrs. Smith'
After having seen the Mr. & Mrs. Smith movie twice already, and with the now released, official image of Lara in action over many waterfalls, I became very inspired to create an impression of how Lara would look as Mrs. Smith :D
Everything fitted with Lara's pose and the stunt Angelina does in this scene of the movie, so it wasn't overly hard, just plain good fun merging the two together http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif
Hope you enjoy! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif

That looks very Cool!
You know, the way Angelina Jolie used high powered amunition weapons in the movie... There is quite a resemblence between Mrs. Smith and Lara Croft LOL!
Totally! I love it http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif And thank you! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif

I may have mentioned it quite many times, but the funny thing is Nicole Kidman was supposed to be the first Mrs. Smith but she dropped the Project.
It's kinda hard picturing her with a shotgun LOL!

That's excellent http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif Great job!
Thank you lots! :D
Catapharact, yeah I had heard of that to whilst seeing / reading up on various featurettes on the movie, did you know as well Brad had dropped his role and then re-took again after having heard old AJ was to be assigned as Mrs. Smith? http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif .. And yeah after seeing Angelina in the role, there's no way at all Nicole Kidman could match I'm sure ;) I saw her recently in a film with George Clooney (action film), I really don't think an action role like this would suit her, or it's not a part I think she would be able to pull off. How intense is the action! I also remember the director of the movie saying they were lucky to have Angelina as a great actress who could also handle the amount and extent of the action in the movie really well, and convincingly.

She is the more Drama type http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif .
The Smith Couple however can't be classified as assasins though. The only scene where they did the stealthy assasin like deed was in the begining of the movie. Though out the other parts however, they went loud! LOL! Rockets, shotguns, Auto Mags, the works! They became Demolition experts LOL!!!
Anyone who wants to see a good hitman movie, should check out the Jackel http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif .
Yess!! I really agree, I guess the film just gave into featuring massive action scenes in the end, and showing off how good the special effects can look now! lol.. And yes I do want to see the Jackal, heard it's pretty good http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
wow dats so kool i love it lol i also love mr and mrs smith ace film

Big time agreement there! LOL! I don't think there is anyone else who would have made the lines in the movie so action like yet funny! LOL! I am just picturing the grin on her face when she said "You still alive baby" LOL!!!!!
:D :D Yeah, I was actually quite surprised at how much I enjoyed the movie, I didn't expect to like it so much. Well for one, from the trailer and previews I didn't know it was going to be as funny as it turned out to be, figured it was just going to be purely, fun action. And two, it's packed with such a great soundtrack! Some great oneliners and found parts of it very original (some of the action scenes in particular, as well as the acting and dialogue). How about the part where Jane is driving and John manages to climb into the car from the side, she then jumps out and he says 'We need to talk!', and the car goes crashing into the bushes! LOL :D Great special effect, quite surprised me! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif

Goes to show that Brad and Angelina make a good team :D LOL! The Part where she reveals that she is Jewish was just funny LOL! (She was wearing a "Jesus Rocks" Jacket in the next scene LOL!)
Hope there is Mr. and Mrs. Smith 2 :D .
I didn't know that about the jacket, cool observation lol! I'm not sure yet if it's the sequel type, but guess we'll find out soon http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/whistle.gif http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
