new competition

Woulden`t it be great if there was another competition but this time not just wallpaper but also stories and movies?

I konw that some of you ill find this idea bad but i think that it would be a great chance for somer trforum raiders to expose new ideas and have a new chance on wallpaper competition.

It's a good :D idea to me. I think it would be great for someone to start that. I probably wouldn't win though, I'm **** when it comes to Photoshop and Imageready.

Sounds good. What about three unconnected competitions? (one for wallpapers, one for fanfictions and one for TRL videos) BUT all this with definite rules.

For example:

*Wallpaper competition rules > wp resalution 1024x768, use all your imagination. :D [one week to submit and one or two weeks to vote]

*Fanfictions competition rules > not more than two A4 pages and not less than one A4 page [one week to submit and one or two weeks to vote]

*TRL videos competition rules > Max size: 8MB! File format: *.WMV [one week to submit and one or two weeks to vote]

apofiss idea is great, we could make the rules right on this post, but I can`t start the competition cuse im not a mod/adm.

I just dont agree whit that one cause it would be easyer to put the story on the post and not on a separet page so the A4 in MWord woulden`t work

Yes of course, fanfictions could be posted directly in the topic. With 2 pages (A4 MWord) I meant AMOUNT of text not that it has to be in Mword file format (*.doc) http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif

I like your idea Apofiss but I am worried that people will vote for their friends here. I am new here and still an outsider (ppl even give me a bad rating although I haven't offended anyone). I don't know abaout all this. I just made a topic with 10 of my wallpapers and I hope the members, mods and admins will like them.

I think the best way would be just like it was before &gt; we vote, but main vote comes from a person(s) who is/are from Eidos or CD. (+ the new order with work submission and voting times).

But resizing pics from a lower to a higher resolution makes them blury and spoils them

1024 x 768 is OK for most machines. Although, next time I advise you to make your wallpapers bigger.

Yeah but I have cut many lara figures which are suitable for a 1024x768 size wallp....I guess I will have to put smaller Laras on it. I will try but I can't re-edit 15 wallps. thanks for the advise, Mark.

Lol, i just started using FireWorksMX and PhotoShop like a week ago, i saw DaggerTails work in the Wallpaper Department, he is brilliant with that. I don't know how i can do the Avatars cause i have SO many ideas i can't just limit myself to one avatar. But i guess we will see how things go.

the voting sould work like this

5 points for img 2
3 points for img 5
1 point for img 4

this vote sould work for all the catgories.

5/3/1 points for name of image/movie/fanfiction/avatar
