They look good. But i quote from their forum: Hello Shaun,
Bob and Micael are correct the IPB skin will only work with IPB pro http://www.extremepixels.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif

Thanks,
Mat Question tlr. Is what we are using IBP pro?

No, we're using vBulletin, aka vB. IPB Pro = Invision Power Board.

ExtremePixels.com's templates are badass. I love these ones (particularly the fixed width versions):

http://www.extremepixels.com/vb/disturbed/disturbed_purchase_details.php
http://www.extremepixels.com/vb/applied/applied_purchase_details.php
http://www.extremepixels.com/vb/plasma/plasma_purchase_details.php
http://www.extremepixels.com/vb/fusion/fusion_purchase_details.php

lol. They do some fine skins. Sorry Draco, we've hijacked your thread. :o

I know that, Gecko.;) That's why i put the  smilie behind my question to tlr. Why waste time on skins that wouldn't work on our software anyway.

More precisely, we're using VB version 3.52. Many new skins would require a software upgrade to 3.06 or 3.09.

Hey i like this one (http://www.extremepixels.com/forum/index.php?styleid=40).:)

Sorry, I misinterpreted it. The skins we're looking at *are* for vB, IPB doesn't have anything to do with these ones. ExtremePixels make skins for vB, IPB and phpBB. There are no compatibility issues as far as I'm aware between their vB skins and our version of vB, because as you can see, their forum that they let you preview their skins on is 3.5.2 as well.

Hey Geck i edited my post ^^. What do you think of the one in my link? ^^:)

EDIT: i now see on tlr's link more 3.5.2 version skins. First time i looked around there i apparently only hit the others. :p

It's not bad, very clean and light, but it's not much different from the skins we've already got, which is why I didn't post the link in my previous post.

Yeah i liked it on first look, but now not so anymore... Tjeez it is pretty hard to find one i really could get used to. I like the one i use right now, the Steel Blue.

I just want to make one, lol. Could buy one of those button sets from extremepixels.com then design a nice colour scheme and add them to it.

lol. They do some fine skins. Sorry Draco, we've hijacked your thread. :o I like the 3d one a bit. The rest is too dark. I like dark in games because games are moving, but don't like dark forums, don't like to have to stare at static dark.

I like it when there's a balance between light and dark, but I prefer darker forums over white/silver ones because they feel cozier, and also because I often use the computer in dim light so bright skins end up dazzling me. The first one out of the list I posted is my overall favourite because they used lighter greys and bright text as well as the darker background.

How does a conversation about forum skins start with a garfield comic strip?

You are right, Jacobx5. This thread has been hijacked. That is not nice of us.
