TR and Win98se

I am not able to see or hear Tomb Raider I after I installed it. The test for the sound card returns nothing. I am running Win 98SE, 533 K6-2 Athlon, 128 mb RAM, ESS Audio Wave, Trident Video card on a Compaq. Direct X 8.0 is installed. After I start the game I see the Eidos splash screen but then nothing. Can anyone help me?

I know this problem as I had it myself.
Select no sound card on the setup screen.It will let you enter the settings manually.You need to know your- sound card name,your port address,DMA,and your IRQ.These can be got off the DOS screen just before windows starts.This tackles the sound problem the pic prob is probably some conflict with the settings.You could check the eidos site for help.www.eidos.co.uk
