Trinnopodopoducity. Game 3 tonight. The Ducks suck atm, the Devils have shut them out for a series 2-0 lead. Another two games like that and it's all over for Walt Disney's team.

what is that two pictures that are on your first post? I only see a white box with a red "X" in it. ANd when I click on the link to the wall paper all the photos of the wallpapers have that same white box with a red "X" Do you think it is something wrong with my computer or something. It seems I am the only one who cant see them? :( HElp.

Eriksgirl. Are you running Norton Firewall? A similar problem occurred with another member and was resolved by changing an option within Norton.

Yes I am. Do you what option that is? Thanks, you are always a great help.

Eriksgirl. I've just emailed GeorgeM who had the same problem. Not sure what's going on with Norton Firewall. We've installed new software which prevents thieving webmasters from hotlinking to our images and stealing our bandwidth. The ONLY side-effect this software has had is with Norton Firewall. I've no idea why. GeorgeM had the same problem and made some configuration changes which fixed the problem. Accept my apologies for the inconvenience, and a solution (GeorgeM) should be along shortly.

Yep, Norton needs to be configured for the main site. Not got around to doing it yet. I'll need the IP address of the site. Once I get it sorted I'll make a post explaining what to do. My solution yesterday was to disable Norton, lol, but as I've also got Zonelabs running, it didn't particularly bother me.

:D

Sorry tlr, I meant the site the pictures are linked from. There is absolutely no need to configure Norton for the forum site as far as I'm aware.

Got it. There is a feature with the Norton firewall called Privacy Control. It purports to protect such things as credit card details, email addresses, and cookies from reaching the Internet. Disabling this feature sorts the problem. I suspect it must be a cookie thing. I'm not a technician tlr, perhaps one of your boys could take it from here?

Anyone with Norton who wishes to view the links simply needs to disable the Privacy Control feature on the main Norton control panel. Nothing else on the site seems to be affected - avatars, smilies, posts, etc all work fine.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for your assistance GeorgeM. There's really little we can do configuration-wise to correct the Norton problem. Hopefully those experiencing the same effects will stumble upon this thread and remedy the problem. Thanks again!

Thanks tlr and George.........
Unfortunately I dont know anything about how to install nortons or even do what George said, my hubby is the one that knows all that technical computer stuff so I will show him the thread so he can fix it for me. All I need to know as far as computers are concerned (which is really bad I know) is as long as my email works my Tomb Raider games and the level editor custom levels work Im am good to go :D Thanks again guys I really appreciate the forum http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/grouphug.gif ohana here!
