One of the files containing the system's Registry data had to be recovered by use of a log or alternate copy. The recovery was successful.
And up in the corner it has a 'text balloon' with an 'i' (for Information). It's not a yellow '!' sign or Red 'X' so I guess it must not be too big of a deal.

I occasionally use a Registry cleaner and have a few Anti-Spyware apps on my computer. I'm not real suspicious of these, but the only times (twice) it's happened is when I was playing around with custom TR levels.

Has this ever happened to anyone esle?

I've had the registry cleaner for a while, and I'm certain it wouldn't be any of the anti-spyware apps that I have.

Perhaps I need to delete some old 'check-points' of whenever I did System Restores?

Or what?

Did the message come from the Registry cleaner?

A note about registry cleaners: they pretend to do an important job, by deleting useless registry entries and keys, but it has been tested ofter that it makes no performance difference whether those old entries remain or not.
IMO, when carefully using your computer, a registry cleaner is better not used at all.

It was a Windows Message.

Have you maybe any idea which Registry entry it related to?

Maybe in right-click "This Computer"/ Manage / System workset / Logfiles / System?

But i guess it is allright.

Oh well. :o

Thanks for that info - to see Log information etc. I'll try to remember that.
