big bad monster in last level

how do you kill the big alien monster guy.
i am using uzi pistols and i cant get him

this takes a long time.a very long time.just carry on shooting him, and don't get close enough for him to pound you one! thats the only way, as far as i know.this took me for ever to.

This is the big mutant guy and not Natler?Use the shotgun shoot side jump run to other side giving a wide berth and repeat.

No, I'd say to stick with the uzis. At least in my case, I had well over a thousand uzi ammo :eek: :eek:
So i could just keep shooting and shooting and shooting and shooting and shooting...
But it does take at least two minutes of pure bullets. How much uzi ammo did I have left? Around 500 :eek:
I have never collected enough shotgun ammo to use it on that Atlantean.

Oh, and don't fall, that ends up being quite bad :D

I agree with using Uzis.

You can use the ledge to dangle on if the creature gets too close and you have no where to run. The safest spots to dangle are in the front corners (front being the area where you started) just make sure to jump down where there's a wall behind you so the creature can't reach under to get you. If he's not moving away allowing you to pull up, just shimmy to the left or right and then back to the corner--he'll move to the doorway giving you time to pull up and shoot. And whatever you do, don't let go of the action button when you grab the ledge (unless you enjoy hearing Lara scream--twice, it's a loooooong fall).

Uzis vs shotgun is pretty much personal preference.

I just found it easier to run around with the uzis. The mutant isn't hard to take out seeing as he's soooo slow moving, but it is a time consuming process. (Or it could be hard if you don't watch out for the edges when you're running.) Plus you don't use all of your clips up on the beast--there's some left to use on Natla. For the final villan and the biggest boss (or most important to the plot), she really wasn't hard to take down at all.

i gues im the only 1 who used the magnums on the beast thing then but i used the uzis on Natla

Actually, the first time I played I never used the magnums at all. Then I got them taken away in the mines, and that wasn't funny! I sure did regret that one!

I think magnum is amazing, the shotgun is a little slow and the uzis spend too much ammo...so in tr1 magnum is my favorite, but desert eagle is still my favorite in all tombs...

Oh yes, the magnums are SWEET :D
Personally may favorite weapon in all series, I wish they could bring them back. I just love the sweet cracking of those beauties :D
I guess I felt that using them too early would be a waste at first.

Guess I was lucky. I used the shotgun with back and side jumps( fliping when I ran out of room) and it only took 30-35 shots.

You can do it with about 30 shotgun shells.Did you shoot and scoot or shoot whilst running?Shooting while running in a circle using the Uzis is challenging to say the least!Those edges come up really quick.

I started in the front center of the platform with the shotgun, side jumped as far as possible,forward jumped to the back corner then fliped to face the Big Ball. Side jumped to next corner, forward, flip and repeat as long as needed(blasting away like crazy the whole time).

Guess it just me but I'm not crazy about the uzis, they use ammo to fast. My all time favorite is the desert eagle. One shot and it's all over, nice and neat.
