ANOTHER PROBLEM WITH TR1!!!

I have a nasty problem, I was hacked into my computer last night and someone changes my password! I had to login to my brothers account (who I don't live with, coz were in care) and I had to create another account with my name on. I then fixed everthing from the new account but then when I try to load up TR1 it loads, past the eidos interactive picture and then it crashes, it then returns to the desktop saying 'VDMSound has recovered from a device failure, please save your work and reeboot' or something similar, after the crash the resolution and clour depth are very low, I then restart and the same happens again, PLEASE PLEASE HELP I really LOVE THAT GAME

Did you try re-installing the game and VDMSound?

Yes I have I have tryed everything possible such as compatibility, sound card setup, reinstalling the game and VDMsound setting display setting to 256 clours, all there is is just a device failure!

No worrys anymore becuase I have re-installed Windows XP and the game works fine now, with SFX I don't care about the graphics because I love that game. I can put up with no music because I never really have cared about it. Plus I know all the dialogue of the un heared cutscenes from my playstation. So I can sing along to her and others when I can't hear it! I'm so Wierd! Any way I have unfinished business and thats great. Also my Tomb Raider 2 game runs fine with sound! Everything is sorted out!

Except Glidos, I have brought Glidos and it doesn't work correctly. It blanks to a White screen after a number of times it loads, plus it loads quite slowly as well and the FMV's are jumbled up everywhere! I would love to know how to fix this problem! Hint Hint ;) :rolleyes:
