Okay folks good news for y'all (well if you are in UK at any rate)
The PS2 demo has been approved by Sony and is set to appear in Issue 71.
I will see if i can get an update on the US demo for you.

Issue 71 is May's copy of OPSM2 and comes out in late April.:hea:
Aparently May's copy comes out early in the month so i may be wrong about late April. see the later treads.
that can't be right... the demo is supposed to come out befor the game itself...

(I use PC, bf has an xBox... ahh, we were saying only yesterday about 'what if they only brought a PS2 demo out'!)

Xbox demo am waiting to hear back.
PC demo is different in terms of distribution as it will be available online etc so we have more time to work on it (magazines have longer lead times)

Yes, but usually these magazines are brought out a month early - so therefore, the MAY 2006 issue will be in stores in the beginning of APRIL 2006.

Ok Official UK PS2 details. I got the first date from mag scans we posted a few weeks ago.
Issue 68 (January) was released at the end of December
Issue 69 (February) released end of January
Issue 70 (March) released end of February
Issue 71 (April) released end of March
We will see it at the end of March. About 1 week before release :wve:

Means we get longer to work on the pc one as WE release it, not magazines or Sony/MS.

From what I can tell, the PC demo will most likely be out at the same time as the other versions. With the PS2 demo, they have to send it away now for it to come on the April issue. With the PC demo, they have right up until March/April to work on it as all they need to do is pop it online and it's there.

Thanks for the great info jay but I won't be pick up copy of the demo cause I don't want to spoil gameplay or anything for the full game before it's released... But saying that I'm probably talking complete nonsense and will end up playing it anyways :p it'll be very hard to resist it!

By time we finish it magazines will be in later editions, so FASTEST way to get it would be online

wow kiss bite- Shadow of the colossus came out last October, are you just getting it over ther now?
Yeah, Europe is just getting it (Feb 17th I think). But, we get a whole host of extras - some ICO-like postcards, trailers, making of (I think), concept art and some other stuff.
I also bought the issue of OPSM2-UK for the Shadow of the Collosus demo! LoL.

I haven't got time to read this whole thread, but in case this hasn't been said...
I was browsing magazines yesterday and saw the February issue of UK OPM on sale and that was numbered number 69. In that case number 71 will be the April issue and not May and shouls therefore be out in March sometime!
BUT we need a demo at least a month before the game is released... or 2 months maybe.... how 'bout nowwww! :p :jmp:

The demo most probably will be out end of March. As i have said before the deom for Full Auto for the 360 was released about 2 weeks before its release (it was released last week). Just an example btw.

da pc demo mite be availible from the site. under the downloads bit theres a demo section which is yet to be added.
