View Full Version : Glidos - Won't detect CD

I downloaded Glidos and I installed & everything, but when I click Start Game, it tells me that there is no CD in the drive, when there is very definitely a CD in the drive. Is there anything I can do about this?

Be sure about Your CD is in the first drive if You have more than one CD-drives. For example if You have D: and E: as CD-ROMs, then place the CD into drive D:, and so on...

Clean the CD first.

It is in the first CD drive, and my computer reads the CD fine if I don't try to start the game with Glidos.

1. So, which episode do You wish to play with GliDOS? TR1 or TR1 Gold?

2. If TR1 Gold, then which version do You have? Original TR1Gold-CD or the web-version?

3. Have You downloaded the correct 3Dfx-patch for that episode You would like to play with GliDOS?

I am trying to play the original TR1, not Gold. It told me to download a new tomb.exe so I did that and replaced the old one with it. Thanks for the help, hope it is something I can fix, not just my stuiped computer acting up.
