Just getting started with the game

I finally got the game to work, usng vdmsound. Now I rightclick the tomb.exe icon and select vdmsound to start it off. I have been reading the threads about Glidos and what it is supposed to do but am still confused somewhat. If I install Glidos and replace the tomb.exe file, will the vdmsound still work as before? I have windows xp and am using the Radeon 7500 series video card, which is set at 32 bits for my other games. My sound card is builtin on my motherboard. Please advise me as to what is the correct procedure to see better graphics.

When I played my TR1 with Glidos, I remember starting the game through Glidos itself. If I remember correctly, Glidos would start up and you select TR from the box that came up and then hit start game.

It has been awhile, so I am not completely sure. Good luck!

Tnks Rand but what I wanted to know is; will vdmsound be heard if I install the glidos?
