This Can't Be Right - Atlantean Stronghold

I managed to complete this level in 15 minutes, but I am sure I can do it in about 5 if I tried again, but I guess it must be a glitch in the game or a very handy shortcut for a speed run!

After killing the Atlantean mutant I made my way to the building with two floors, killed the two flying mutants then made my way down to the cave floor dodging the rolling boulder.

After exploring the cave I found two doors (well I presume they are doors!) I ignored them, and made my way to the angled rock with 4 square holes in two of which are filled with pools of lava.

The bottom left hand one has path leading to it and if you drop down the hole you will loose a bit of health, in this room is two half medipacks on ledges infront of what I will describe as windows. Behind these panels is a hole.

I managed to walk past in-between the panels, blue line in picture below

I then fell two floors into a pool below, after getting out of the pool I found a switch which opened a door upon walking through the level is complete.

Is this the correct way of completing the level? I can’t see it is, but I could be wrong

i can't think that that would be how the level would really play out, but it is a very handy tool for a speed run.

I can't see that being the case either stereopathic, I'm going to start the level again, as I cant seem to get out of this room any other way, there are other holes in room, but when I lower myself down and drop I die instantly, even with full health.

I forgot to mention in my first post that I found a secret near the begining :D

No, I don't think that is the usual way to finish the level. But I'm not certain :D

Made myslef replay the level :D

Completed it the proper way this time, although I was stuck in the same place for a bit, in the end I found out that you could hang and fall from one of the holes, but only in a certain place. Bit difficult I thought, but hey I got passed it.

I loved the way she entered the pool the real way, what a long jump! :D
