How can you make a screenie in TR1? When i prees "Prt Sc" it doesn't do anything. When i press it in other games it does. Is it because it's a DOS-game?
And how CAN i make some?

Yes, I use a glide wrapper called dgVoodoo to run TR1 with smooth quality textures....

The egg thing had me puzzled too. It was the first thing that I noticed upon loading the savegame. Here's a better picture...

Oh yes but I have encountered a bug where you get thrown off the ledge by the mutant and just before you hit the lava pit at the very bottom of the shaft Lara magically appears at the top of the platform being killed by the mutant (whacking her on the floor 3 times in a row lol!)

Getting that shot of the Scion was simply a matter of walking right upto the Scion pedestal and using the Look button to look down.

These should get you up to the Scion Room. There's nothing to really do up there though. I'm going to edit the save to get through the exit door now! :D

Thany you so much for posting the pics of this monster (and anyone else who did), I've been looking for these pictures for ages and all the websites have just decscribed it as "some big mutant thing" which I'm sure you'll agree, isn't very useful.

I've got about 8 pics of this "thing" saved now so I can look at it whenever. I probably won't be a regular at this forum but hopefully I'll pop in from time to time.

:jmp: :D :) all this is making me wanna cry:D How I missed this age of Tomb Raiding:D I liked how the game can be very frightening at times...(especially the mummies...the first mummy I saw on Tomb Of Quolopec freaked me out - -it was watching me:confused: I was shocked and touched it, madea groan - -AHH that freaked me out:D ). And definently the soundtrack - -so original. I loved it. It brings the Tomb Raider atmosphere crisp and clear. From all these screens, I'm looking forward to the remake of the game for PSP:D (say anyone got a word on that yet? I also heard it may not be a remake for the first one - more like a BEST OF , collecting all levels from TR 1-6 maybe:confused: )

I think that medpack is out-of-reach. I read somewhere that in every Tomb Raider game there is an out-of-reach medpack as a sort of in-joke with the creators. They are inaccessible to those who don't use bugs and glitches.

I take the scenery shots because it makes it feel like an area not just a screenshot. These type of shots are my favourite because it's like promoting some sort of resort for a holiday. I like Lara in them sometimes but it makes a nice change. I must agree with you on that it makes whatever situation peaceful and calming even though there are multiple enemies waiting for you. A kind of bribe to get Lara killed LOL! But I'm glad you like them. :)

You know I have always thought why didn't the two men and Natla on the boat hear the noisy motorbike rather then just the spalsh? I think the motorbike would have caught their attention much more!

Great screenshots, i cant get it running, i'm using dgvoodoo, on a rad9700pro, using it normally it works, then switching on glide, it gets stuck at the eidos screen. and pressing escape does nothing.


Anyone with ati card got it to work with above configuration or close.

I wanted some screenshots where it looked like Bacon Lara was fighting the mutants as well. :)

Alot of the time it didn't go quite to plan, because I'd think that I was shooting at the mutants, but then it'd turn out that I was shooting at Bacon Lara instead. I'd always have lost at least half of my health before I realised what I was doing, but then the mutants would come along and finish me off in three seconds flat! :hea: :mad:

Glad you liked them, though. That third one is cool, isn't it? :)
