If you're talking about TR1 then it's not compatible with a regular joypad, it doesn't use Direct X. It's only possible with a joypad that can emulate keyboard presses - try this:

My gamepad doesn't work either - neither does your link The Master. I'm sure some gamepads are compatible.....?

The link works fine for me

You need a gamepad that can emulate keypresses, I have a Saitek P2500 and that works fine.

To reply to the original post I've found out that the latest version of Glidos 1.27 is supposed to allow joypads to work via VDMsound but I havn't tried it though check the glidos site (http://www.glidos.net) for more details.

Mine is red inside but has clear plastic around it - I believe it also comes in yellow and blue too! Thanks for the info about Glidos, my version is 1.24 so am downloading 1.27 - I'll let you know how I get on with it - cheers! :D

Regards, TM</font>[/QUOTE]Actually, I bought mine second-hand so not even sure if I have the correct drivers as it didn't come with them - I had to download them and just assume it's the 8-button one? Would love to see a pic of yours to be sure though....? May be not the right ones as it does play up from time to time with TR2

You need the correct drivers! It's no use downloading the drivers for a different model!

Can anyone else not see the picture? It works perfectly for me, I cleared my IE cache and everything and I can still see it

Can you see this picture? http://www.dxmarket.com/shops/saitek/images/products/J62.jpg

Edit: try this link: http://www.saitekusa.com/usa/prod/p2500.htm

Good luck! ;)

Good luck! ;) I can see the pic in this post, but only when I switch to IE (the pics still don't load for your previous post, just shows a red "X" to indicate a pic hasn't loaded - yet my usual browser shows nothing at all anywhere!) - anyway, that's not the gamepad I have, mine must not be the 8-button one, it's the one that's practically identical to the psx controller - but not sure where to find a pic of it....? (and must be why I'm having trouble using it with TR1)

Do you know what your model is called? If so do a Google search (images) for a picture of it and type the address in the "image" link here http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

You'll need to search the saitek website for the correct drivers ;)

I did that, and couldn't find one that matched - in fact, "Saitek" is not even written on the gamepad, I was just told it is one :S
