On my first playthrough in ages I achieved 11:39 on that level, and that was with all kills, pickups and secrets. Not bad I suppose, but in my younger, better days I used to be able to achieve 8 or 9 minutes.

But as for beating your record, take a look at this...

Yes, but you could have linked to my very good TR3 run rather than my to-be-improved TR2 run :p .

Unless you want to compare the runs, I'd highly recommend waiting a few weeks for my run of Tomb Raider 1 to go up, as it improves on the current one by 40 minutes+ (theirs is 2:39, mine is less than 2 hours). Mine also uses only pistols and no medikits (because of the rules I went by).

i've gotten through six levels and i do see places where you could improve your tr2 run, but it's still totally badass. i'm very impressed.

I can't watch any of them, error downloading codec. I used it WinMedPlr, QuickTime and RealPlayer and it doesn't work.

Get DivX; a link to it is on the run page.

If that doesn't work, then you must be downloading the high quality H264 versions, which are more difficult to get working, and no links are provided. In which case you should just go for the normal quality version.
