Tomorrow, they'll anounce the nominations for The Academy Awards of this year. For sure, Tomb Raider The Cradle of Life will not be nominated in any of the categories.

But, in your opinion, in which category/categoies the film should be nominated?

I think:
- Best Score (Alan Silvestri)
- Best Visual Effects
- Best Editing
- Best Sound
- Best Sound Effects
- Best Supporting Role (Gerard Butler), but this one is just impossible

The rest I can't agree with. The visual effects were great, but their weren't enough of them.
(I'd have to give that to Robert Rodriguez for Once Upon A Time In Mexico-they were amazing!)

It would be nice if the movie got a couple of nods but it wont. wouldnt it be nice if the people could deside who wins. ;)

Although I liked what they did to the original theme, I don't think it earns an oscar... Can't really say any category... :rolleyes:

Maybe for best script!? You know, for that line at the end: "Oh, do shut up!" Loved that one! :D

The score was definetly the best for any movie I saw last year. Too bad action films are scarcely, if ever, nominated for Oscars.

As much as I would like to see TR get some nods it won't happen because of Lotr. I think they are going to clean up in every cat. they are entered.
