No plait?

In all the TR2 latest shots I've noticed that Lara's/Angie's hair is still pulled back, but not in her usual plait.
I wonder whether this is just for these particular scenes or if she's not going to wear her trademark plait for a lot of the movie?

Yeah i have noticed too...um, it doesnt look like she will have the plait...it doesnt bother me at all though.
I mean yeah i get the fact that Lara has trademark hair...but i think its good that Angie has a fresh new hairstyle for Lara, i mean she has 2 or 3 small plaits going through her pony tail...but i think it looks great and it moves better when she does action (eg: the jet ski footage).
I think it looks a bit more updated, alot cooler and just sexier..... ;)

I'm a bit divided about the lack of plait situation...I do hope she wears it at least once...!
But I agree with you that her new hairstyle looks cooler and I must admit that in TR I liked her best with her hair down and loose, nearer the beginning of the movie.

I always wanted her hair in a pony tail or out in the games...i just dont know if they had the technology to do that with the P21...characters that had long hair in games looked really dodgy...but its kinda out in the new game.

Thats another thing we gotta remember, in the new game she has a new looking plait....so i guess in a way we are pretty much just keeping up with her hair too....i mnea she wont have the plait forever in the games.

i have short hair so i know little, but im under the impression you cant do it yourself... or it would be hard to do it so perfect like that without help

With regards to Lara/A.J's plait, if you think about the first movie, she doesn't wear it in a plait all the time. Maybe we just haven't seen any shots of her wearing it like that. But i agree it would be weird to see her without it! Also, in the original TR game, she didn't have it short, it was just kind of looped under and tied.

Personally I definitely prefer the plait. Admittedly, the free hair does look showy in the jet-ski footage, but the plait is part of my image of Lara. The action scenes won't look right without it.

To address some things in this thread, if Lara was rich, she wouldn't have looked so worried during that bidding scene. Also, in the first game Lara had the plait in all the in-game movies. The only reason she did not have it in the action was the technology wasn't up to it.
