I was playing Natla's Mines and I got to the pyramid and the guy that says "say cheese!" and then it dawned on me that I was supposed to get my pistols a long time ago :o

So it turns out that I ended up playing through almost the whole level without any weapons! :vlol: No wonder it was so tough! Especially dodging the skateboard kid - he takes away a huge amount of health!

I guess I never got the pistols because I never remembered that you can swim underneath the waterfall :p And I was thinking that the level was too short.

wow. i tried like crazy to get past the "ain't nothin' personal" guy before i knew i was supposed to have my pistols. if you got that far, i am REALLY impressed. is there a way to finish off the level with no weapons? that'd be sweet.

I didn't try to finish it after that, but I bet you would just get sent to the next level without the weapons.

Imagine finishing the whole rest of the game without weapons! :D But that wouldn't work with the boss fights.

Once, I played through Natla's Mines and I wanted all pickups, I was making savegames at the time, but at the end of the level I realised I missed 1 pickup, which then I had to read a walkthrough to find out where it was, and it was actually uzi clips. They were on a rock in the converyor belt room with the switch, and at the time I didn't see them because they were camouflaged in the rock it was laying on lol, so I had to restart the level and get them....

I just completed the game again last night and I went through the Natla's Mine level with no pistols. When I heard the "it's nothing personal" line I realized I only had one fuse and had missed a ton of stuff. I just ran past him to the pyramid and he stopped firing after the second jump to the flat ledges. I completed the level and got the pistols at the beginning of Atlantis, they're Uzi clips if you complete the previous level correctly.

Hello Sainted_s :wve: welcome to the forums!

Yes it is confusing to get all pickups and of course the Uzis will be in Atlantis if you didn't get them in Natla's Mines!

Not sure about this as he moves so fast it would be hard I think to line him up by an edge. It might be possible. Gosh I might play this game again when back off hols :D Just to see if I can knock skater boy off his perch :ton:

I skipped the pistols first time around. I just presumed you had to run past the cowboy and continue without them. When it came to the skater boi I seem to remember having other weapons. Thus I was okay.

I don't think so. :)

There was something I used to do in Natlas mines... I'd jump off that ledge and land on an angled slope then shimmy to the right. Back up and above is Larson (or the "Cowboy"). I'd skip a lot of stuff in that level but I still got the weapons I needed... Unless I was playing the 2nd time through... I can't remeber.

natlas mines did have some atmosphere and a great level, it seems like were being trained to the mutants, on You-Know-What
