TR1 Retexturing Project

First of all hello! (first post) ;)

I was playin' around with Glidos the other afternoon and began to change TR1's first stage textures. Basicly, I'm replacing the old, 64x64 pixel, 256 colours textures with new, 256x256 pixels, true-colour textures. This is looking great, I'll try to take and post a screenshot soon.

I plan to finish this first stage just for fun, but I wonder... Is people interested on a complete retexturing of the game? (when you see how great it looks you'll be convinced!) if so, anyone would want to join me and retexture some levels?

This is just for fun. I am just letting people know if someone wants to join. Having new textures for the whole game would be awesome http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif TR1 looks great in 1024x768 using Glidos, but it would look even better.

I found that web site and thought WOW!!!!. Dusted off the TR1 CD case only to find it empty (damn kids!!). Next time I was out shopping I found TR1 in a sale for 49p. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/c-5.gif

Hi all. I'm the guy doing the TRX project. I updated my site just to say that I currently don't have time to work on it. :( But rest assured, I will do so when things settle down for me.

Nathan, your project looks good! Keep it up. Yeah, I got that calendar off Google image search too! I saw you wanted to offer to help out on mine: thanks for the offer but this is just a hobby and I would rather do the whole thing myself -- it's a personal thing, you know?

Anyway, stay cool everyone -- come back to the site in August and there might be some good surprises!

There was a remote link to one of my sample images in the thread above. This is stealing a lot of bandwidth and costs me money, so I have disable remote linking.
