i think atlantis is the creepiest cos it is dark and those atlantian mummies creep me out, i used to hate those centaurs too.
sanctuary of the scion is a close 2nd too

i agree. atlantis is the creepiest level. you walk into a room and there's one or more of those incubators and you just know that something terrible is going to pop out of them. the mutants make horrible noises and do a lot of damage. the walls breathe and there's lava everywhere. a very creepy level.

absolutely atlantis, those pulsing walls and viens and skin is just so creepy!!!!! And all those high falls.....:tea:

The first time I was too scared to play Atlantis after the first incubator hatched! Lol.
the flying atlantians dont bother me much, its the ones on legs that can run and jump at lara with that screaming!

atlantis yeah, epiecially the first part, they scared the hell out of me when you pull a lever to enter that massive hall, (which leads to puzzles), one of the eggs crack, and i dident here it, and (honestly) nailed its claws in my face. aww i just hate those atlanteans, i liked the white ones on the city of kahmoon with the little sphinx.
How can Atlanteans be scary? They GRIN, for god sake! :)
No TR levels I would actually consider scary. Exept maybe Tomb of Qualopec when that dumb mummy jumps out at you when you go to inspect. *shiver*

For me, Atlantis will forever be the creepiest level in the game. it is mostly responsible for making me the uber-paranoid gamer that I am today!:D
One moment that will forever stand out in my mind was when I was in the tall main room jumping from one ledge to the other. Suddenly one of those flying mutants appeared out of nowhere and landed on my head! :yik:
That thing nearly gave me a heart attack!
Probably Atlantis.
But Sanctuary of the Scion was kinda scary too! Dark and dangerous with lots of enemies!

god question, atlantis v scary indeed, but id say it isent atlanstis, (have u seen the movie)? nowere near muants and veins and stuff.
a creepy part for me was in the city of khamoon, where you have to pull a switch to put the lights on, kill a few pumas, then you go around the corner above and a mummy jumps out.

I never completed the game, but I hated any level with bears. I hate bears.

:) For me it was "Sanctuary of the Scion", I got those floating Uzi's and was pleased with my self then those two flying mutants came and scared me off the side of the invisible platform. :(

there is a near by place by the waterfull, when the t-rex comes i run to it, and it will soon go away, and i go out to lead it bk again and shoot it should die, but i dont remeber there being a T-REX, i did it ages ago, and i fought a long neck.

I know, .. but I saw in the beginning only his green/yellow eyes (it was black I think in the distance or foggy) and they were at such a height that I thaught at that moment what the... Then he came closer and I like WHOA! :yik: :p
Never foughted against a T-Rex... :P

Long neck, where the heck was that? lol.....The T-Rex moment of the first game was definetly it for me....you hear the thundering and the beginning of the fast pace music, and then BHAM! "Holy ****!"
I don't have sounds at all in the PC version! :(

i used to run past the t-rex and 2 raptors by the gog and go to the broken bridge. that was cool to see them running about below. i wish i had a picture of it.
