Installation problems - graphics driver?

My friend has just purchased TR and is having trouble installing it on the lappy (notebook to those in the northern hemisphere ;) ) - her graphics card is Intel 82845G - she is currently updating it, but is there any known incompatibility issues with this card and TR?

Updating the driver didn't do jot - everytime she loads the disk and attempts to install, her laptop crashes.

TR1 uses VESA, an old driver for MSDOS applications embedded in the cards themselves. Most modern cards (specially those on laptops) don't like VESA, nor Windows XP does.

Solution? I would go and download Glidos http://www.glidos.net

I think it is her silly graphics chipset which is the problem (intel) ;) and she's getting a tower, bought a monitor all to play TR - how's that for dedication to the game?! :D
