I'm not in America: I'm in Canada, but so far, we change at the same time as they do. First Sunday in April, so it should be next weekend. There is some proposed legislation in Canada & US that the time will change in early March in 2007.

Does America do this?

You mean Daylight Saving Time? Yep... except Indiana, Hawaii and Arizona (with the exception of the Navajo Indian Reservation in Arizona). They don't have Daylight Saving Time which is nice.

There is some proposed legislation in Canada & US that the time will change in early March in 2007.

Beginning in 2007, Daylight Saving Time is extended one month and begins for most of the United States at:

2 a.m. on the Second Sunday in March
to
2 a.m. on the First Sunday of November.

The new starts and stop dates were set in the Energy Policy Act of 2005.

These 'old grannies' as you so call them, I have heard talking about things much more interesting than the pointless conversations today's teenagers have. :ton:

I have to explain this every year so you don't get it wrong. You DO NOT TURN THE CLOCK AHEAD ONE HOUR IN SPRING.
You must turn it BACK 11 HOURS. I hope this clears up the confusion.

Actually no, you turn it ahead 1 hour. :wve:

I guess nobody is getting my little joke. Turning the hands back 11 hours or turning them ahead 1 hour are the same thing. If the clock started at 2:00 AM, it will be 3:00 AM either way. I thought I was being funny, but I guess it wasn't obvious enough.
