View Full Version : Don't Let Your Daughter Become A Toyboy

Ten ways to prevent a tree-climbing, trouser-wearing, beer-swilling daughter (in a fun addition to Belfarstard's thread :D ) OOPS should read Tomboy not toyboy!

1: Insist your little girl always wears pink ribbons in her ringlet-styled barnet.

2: Always call her endearing names such as 'Princess' and 'Sugarpie' :p

3: Ensure she places her napkin squarely on her knee at mealtimes and has her elbows tucked closely to her side in a most ladylike fashion.

4: When her brother gets out his Mechano set, banish your daughter to the kitchen where she can concentrate on making some nice fairy cakes.

5: Teach your daughter from an early age how to operate the vacuum cleaner.

6: Buy her a Tiny Tears doll and teach your princess how to knit a nice warm pink jumper for it.

7: Drum it into her that maps are only ever used by men - usually used to locate the washing machine and other kitchen appliances.

8: Tree houses, tell her, are for neanderthal tribesmen who can't afford to get a foothold on the property ladder.

9: Tell her that there is no such thing as a rubber glove with only one finger and to be wary of anyone who tries to tell her otherwise.

10: Tell her there was no such Prime Minister called Maggie Thatcher - her name was Mary Whitehouse :ton:

I think I would have commited suicide (or homicide of the person making the demand) if anyone had forced me to play with dolls

I've nothing against dolls. Indeed, those who enjoy them should be allowed to. The issue I have is the idea that I would have to have anything to do with them :p

Give me a paintball session any day! :D
