Wow, that's a shock. They normally brutally overrate games. I mean, I'm not saying this is overrated or underrated, but after all of the hype this game was getting, I expected a massive scoe from everyone; ESPECIALLY IGN. Their biggest problems were how disappointing the gameplay was. They said the lack of challenge makes the game a repetitive button masher, and that the new features like Sora's Fuse Drives are useless because of it.

I totally disagree with IGN's reviews. Then again... I've always disagreed with IGN's reviews.

Anyway, I've been playing KHII today and it is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :jmp: I'd be playing right now, but I'm about to go watch King Kong. Seriously though, KHII is just incredible, I'm so excited about it! Could possible be my fav game ever! :tmb:

I read the IGN review today...Are they crazy? The gameplay is PERFECT. It´s fun, fast, easy to control...simply PERFECT. It´s better than its elder brother...I didn´t understand many of the combos I executed (playing in Japanese and having to equip abilities you don´t know what they do...:p)
But...I have to agree in something: the game is easy (without considering Sephiroth). The final battle is harder than in KH, but not so hard. The hardest boss I found wasn´t really important. It was.....

IGN definitely underrated! This is like KH, but BETTER! Yet IGN gave the original a 9 something and the second a lot lower... :rolleyes:

I love the American version of Utada's song, it sounds incredible! And that opening FMV was just breathtaking!

I've been playing it ever since I've picked it up today, and it is just none less than amazing! I wouldn't be surprised if this turned out to be my favorite game ever, it's such a phenominal work of art! It's a bit on the easy side, but I'm playing on the hardest difficulty setting they offer, so it hasn't bothered me so much. I just love this game so much!!!

Best $50 I've ever spent. 'Nuff said.

The opening is good ( been downloadable since it came out in japan ) but i dont agree with the american version. In my opinon they totaly butchered it! I seen a commerical and they played the song and i was so mad that she would change the lyics when they were perfect the first time around. I think that the english lyrics dont flow as well as the japaniese ones...
