I came in from the leftovers of Hurricane Ivan's downgraded rains to Angelina Jolie and 'Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow." It was good fun - maybe even actually left one looking for a little more background to "the captain and Frankie..."

A definite throwback to Flash Gordon and Superman plots of the 60's ( good guy, bad guy, good guy wins...), Aj's appearance was relatively brief but enjoyable...and the ongoing bantering relationship between Jude Law/ Gwyneth Paltrow humorously and realistically plausible (all things considered - this IS a movie ). Actually, what fascinated me most were some lines and props which could have been "para-phraseed" right out of the TR films.. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Thanks for the info. This movie was shot totally against a blue screen, so almost all the scenes were constructed on computer. I love the silvery effect the frames have.. make the whole picture look almost surreal.

Anyone else seen the movie?
