i think this time natalie portman should play a slightly younger lara croft. but her age should play no roll in the film. and it should be totally darker and gothic. and the movie should be based on a really scary myth, not lara croft. she should just be the main character. and her father should play a part in the movie also (since this is a younger lara) and he should be played by a younger actor. he should be a part of her team. and i do think she should have a team this time. itll allow for more dialogue between lara and the good guys as appose to us always seeing lara being hostile because shes mostly talking to the bad guys.

also i think its time for lara to really address her love life realistically. they should take note of the fact that lara really isnt a relationship person and has deeply rooted issues with love. and someone should come along that knocks down that icy wall she has put up to drive men away. because come on, we all kno that lara is cold when it comes to love.

this is natalie portman. i think her face is soooo beautiful and shes got so much class. i personally think shed be perfect for the roll. and nobodys ever really concidered her so it would be a not so obvious choice. and im pretty sure shed b able to pull off the accent flawlessly.

well anyway these are just ideas i dreamt up. they came straight from my head. i dont expect anyone to agree but i thought id post just in case anyone might find them interesting at all. i think its exactly the fresh new movie that tr needs to save the movie franchise if it ever wants to go on for years like the bond movies. and how did those keep going? every movie was a fresh new experience.

This is a very nice story from you but I guess they will pick for Tomb Raider 3 a much more well-known star like I hav mention in my post. And your story is a little bit cold...It has some missing plots but your actress natalie portman is not strong enough for the role.
However,I agree with you that Tomb Raider 3 shouldn't be only about Lara.:)

I like Natalie Portman, but somehow i cant imagine her spinning guns into holsters and backflipping over monsters to be honest.

bad news...lara's dad died when she was alittle girl (in the movies) so lara would have to be 11 or 12 raiding tombs...i dont think nat could pull off that young of an age...well maybe she did play that girl well in v for vendetta haha

I think her chest wouldnt be big enough
They had to pad Angelina Jolies and she isnt flat chested
Theyd probably get the girl from resident evil and dye her hair
OR... -Has Just the person-
Jennifer Lopez!
She'd be GREAT

Haha I'm disgusted to say that by that photo J Lo would probably suit it pretty well but when they are picking these Actors they have to think of their personna off the screen too, J Lo would lose so many true TR fans. I really do love Angelina Jolie (shut up I'm cool :P ) but I would have liked to have seen them go with an unknown so that it was all about the story and not just the charachter. :tea: ..I just really wanted to use that smiley in a post lol
