I cant's use my DVD player on my computer:( I want to play Battle for middle earth:) But it seems like I have no DVD decoder. Where can I get it? I have it before but not now:(

Driver Installation Hints


"Download Accelerator" utilities should be disabled when downloading any drivers.
Do not run virus protection software in the background while installing the drivers. This prevents the driver from configuring itself properly.
Before installing new drivers make sure you uninstall all NVIDIA display drivers from the Windows Control Panel. Browse to the Start Menu > Windows Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and search for "NVIDIA Windows Display Drivers" or "NVIDIA Display Drivers" and select remove.

Simple: it is high time you upgrade your PC with a new videocard.

But this has nothing to do with missing codecs. You simply need a dvd decoder for the game. I don't know which. I remember when i installed the game Mafia, i got the message i missed a decoder... i forgot the name atm... i googled for it and quickly found what was the case: the missing decoder was owned by a company so you were supposed to buy it. That made me mad. But a google further brought me to places where the decoder was free to download. I believe it is now included in the patch...

Anyway, download and install XP Codec Pack 1.3.3 (http://www.xpcodecpack.com/) to start with.
Have you checked the game's website for patches and updates?
