hey can some1 please tell me a way easy to beat xaldin? the bossfight u have in the beasts castle, the second time u go there. it is just plain hard. btw i use the learn command and jump, but that doesnt really help.

one of the best things is having donald with u so he can heal u... also customise ur abilities that helped me a lot.... get all the combos u can with either donald or goofy... and dont forget to chage ur weapon.... hmmm let me see if i can think of how i beat it

Xaldin is the most difficult boss for me:D Beast helped me. I used him and Donald (he casts cure). And, sometimes, Goofy in order to fuse and use the red suit. It´s a matter of patience:) You´ll eventually beat him:tmb:

Yes Xaldin Was very difficult but I know a way when he does and attack if you have learn(the move) when he attacks you press the triangle and get him lock on so you can hit him easily but he was hard.
And in the last boss is soooo hard very hard I lvled up like 3 times during the process but the hardest is Sephiroth he beated me in less then a min.

Very very strong, but I want to beat him to unlock the most powerful weapon for Sora in the game Fenrir. ohhh and I want Cloud and Tifa to meet but I dont know how and someone said to me you had to beat Sephiroth in lvl 80 but Im just in lvl 40-something :D.

Ohhh no problem i beat him in lvl 44 too and after trying and trying it was easy then.

Because, at least in the Japanese version, when you arrive to the place with the gummi ship, it gives you some information. And it says lvl 50, as an advice:)

Here's a good leveling up trick.

1. Get The Gullwing From Yuna!

I can't remember when exactly, but at one point when you return to Hollow Bastion, Yuna, Rikku and Paine will be there. Talking to Yuna will give you the Gullwing, which increases EXP given when in critical damage.

2. Equip any and all items/abilites that increase magic replenishing drops.

3. Get Magnega (third Magnet spell)

4. Complete the second Pride Land quest (concerning Scar's ghost).

5. Unequip any healing items or abilities from your party members.

6. Get into a battle, and take enough damage to put Sora into blinking damage (with the annoying sound effect) and equip the Gullwing.

7. Go to the top of Pride Rock past the King's Den in the Pride Land. There will be hundreds of bumblebee heartless here.

8. Cast Magnega 3-4 times, collect spoils, rinse and repeat. Each bee offers about 180 EXP and you'll kill dozens at a time, and they respawn everytime you reenter the top of Pride Rock (don't need to completely revisit the world like with other respawning enemies).

I went from level 56 to 99 in about 90 minutes.

I think you still do. I mean, I couldn´t kill Sephiroth. So, in the end, when seeing the credits, a segment seems to be missing (possibly something related to Tifa, Cloud and Aerith). I´m almost positive that you HAVE to beat Sephiroth, which will be hard...unless you are lvl 99, as Trojan explained before :tmb: I´ll try that method when I have some free time: I want to get Fenrir and that cutscene!:p

Ugh, Sephiroth, even at level 99, is giving my some trouble. My biggest problem is that Sora can't use items in the air, or that I fumble the commands by accident. I can recognize that he isn't that hard, especially with the right abilities like Second Chance, Once Again, and Berserk, but there's very little room for error since his attacks are so brutal.

I already beat the game, but I feel like there wasn't enough content, so I'm doing the cups and such to get more out of the game. Just unlocked the Pain and Panic Paradox.

i beat it last night! i was in a rush to see the ending so i went kind of fast, i beat the game in 23 hours, im gonna check see if its right... but i think it was 23 hours.... my review will come soon.... now im gonna go slowly and try to make 100% done. i was lvl 43.

In standard yes you have to unlock all Jimmynis journal and complete fully all worlds. :tmb:

It doesn´t matter which difficulty level you choose. The only difference are the requirements you need to get that scene. :)

The secret ending has nothing or little to do with the story arc in Kingdom Hearts II. It's just a hint at what Kingdom Hearts III may be about.

Also, beat Sephiroth! But the Fenrir is super disappointing. I'm sticking with Oblivion.

to fight against Xaldin is extremely difficult. Before entering this battle, equip your entire party with potions and hi-potions. Begin the battle by locking on and jumping in to attack, as Xaldin's speed and range are difficult to counter. Watch for a chance to get a Command Reaction with each attack. in particular the thrusts. Because it's so difficult to get in close against Xaldin, start off with Donald and Beast in your party. As the battle progresses and Donald runs out of potions, switch him out for Goofy.
The learn reaction command is essential to staying alive and inflicting damage. With each one, you will earn a Jump Reaction Command that replaces a typical attack. It is possible to hold more than one jump, so don't miss any reactions. Unloading a number of these consecutively is great for catching him off-guard. After knocking him out of his offensive stance, pile on the Air Combos. The more powerful the air combo finisher, the more likely you will keep him off his feet.
Quickly run away if he starts glowing green while attacking. This means that he has entered a berserker-like stance, making him faster and stronger than before. Avoid getting caught in a corner while he's in this stage, as it can result in instant death.
Any time Xaldin flies away on his spears, run down the bridge as far as possible to avoid his wind attack. Fortunatley, King Mickey is here to help out as long as you don't give up. King Mickey can't defeat Xaldin on his own, but he can rstore Sora with his Drive Gauge.
As far as Drive Forms are concerned, both Valor and Master Drive provide power and speed advantages, but neither will bestow the damage of the Beast's limit. This is a great way to finish off Xaldin.

I hope that helps you on beating him. I don't know if you beated him yet as i have not tookin the time to read what everybody else said so good luck and if you have any more problems just ask me. that game was fun. the ending was okay and the ending movie

I beat sephiroth and hes not that hard if ur lvl 67-70 with the ultima weapon or oblivion.

save your forms last bt all ic ans ay is use reacion commands as possible. it sometimes help if he goes out into th side isto go to the ed of the bridge and call out king mickey.

I found this boss extremely hard :(

The strategy I used to beat him is keeping Sora's MP bar full because King Mickey can always be called on if Sora's MP bar is full - then you just keep whacking away at Xaldin's HP bar to beat him and I also found it helpful to transform into Sora's Brave form then batter him with two keyblades!! ;)

He'll go down eventually, but keep attacking don't use magic and always have the re-place item switched on!!
