The enemy that scared the crap out of me was one of the bears i think on the second level that attacks you after you fall into a room. Not the fact that its a bear but just caught me off guard. But the dumb thing is that it gets me every time even though i know its there.

Wait, so the Mummies are mummified panthers, I kinda knew that. But I thought the mutants were just plain old mutants Natla created, that sick *****, lol.
Awwww, if I'd known all that time ago that they were just cute kitty kats wrapped in bandages, I might not have called them so many names while trying not to have my eyes clawed out by them... Aww *heart melts* *pats kitty mummy on head*

The are, without a shadow of a doubt, the most terrifiying monster I have ever faced in a computer game.

And I've played Silent Hill!

Each time I know they're about, I damn near widdle myself (that moan... brrrrr...). I hate 'em! (And yet I love them, too... otherwise why else would I keep playing TR1 and Unfinished Business?!?!)

Unfinished Business is the worst, especially near the end of Shadow of the Cat or something when there's one just STANDING there...

...and when you run past them, heart in your mouth, NONE OF THEM DO ANYTHING!! Arrrggghh!

Well, until you flip the switch, then all hell breaks loose.

UB... seriously, that add on gave me nightmares for WEEKS.

And that room in the first or second extra Atlantis level, with all the mutants standing still as well. *shiver*
Which do you think are scarier, Mutants or Mummies?
I think I'd say Mummies, as they're more likely to be real. *scared*

Can I just say that I totally agree with you on that. I hate the corridor in Temple of the Cat with the eight mummies all line dup in alcoves, and when you go onto that san hill with the switch all hell breaks loose and I just totally panick at that point. And also at the end of UB in The Hive is another eight mutant monsters which is just so frightening, you have no idea which one will animate from whichever square you step on!??? I love the thrill but is scares me almost everytime!

Those two are the most frightening bits EVER, in any TR game! I'd say.
