Does anyone know a good Wav to Mp3 converter for free?

I ripped all the Tomb Raider - Legend music files and they are all .wavs and are enormous !

(Last time I tried finding one myself my computer got full of spyware :o)

Trial last's forever. I've got it. It's awesome. You can speed up songs.

Just put your song in then go to file, Save as, Then change it to MP3 then done!

Wavepad is excellent. It has a basic free version that never runs out, you can convert wavs to mp3 forever and ever, and you get edit the audio file by increasing the pitch, temp etc...

For future reference, for ripping from a CD to your computer in .mp3 just use iTunes. You can change the importing preferences to .mp3 format at 192kbps, which is my personal choice. You can go higher or lower if you want. Y'know, so you don't have to go through the hassle of importing, then converting.
