Hi Raiders :wve:

I want to expand my DVD collection. I have oodles of videos but only around 50 or so DVDs.

I thought it would be an idea to list our movie collections (even if they belong primarily to your parents :tmb: ).

The best way is to categorise them in order to break it up and also keep track of what's hot and what's not in every given category.

Let us start with the genre of HORROR

Here are my horror titles:

The Ring
The Ring 2
The Grudge (Japanese version)
The Others
What Lies Beneath
The Blair Witch Project

Henry - Portrait Of A Serial Killer
Henry 2 - The Mask Of Sanity
Confessions Of A Serial Killer
Ted Bundy

Ghost Ship
28 Days Later
The Exorcist
Don't Look Now
Final Destination

Have you any to add - initially just from your horror library?

It's quite OK for members to post enquiries about listed films and pass comments or reviews :tmb: If you are writing up a spolier please write SPOILER in the reply window. Thanks :)

Not Horror, but Violent Films..

Irreversible
Battle Royal
Battle Royal 2
Zatoichi
Brotherhood of the Wolf
City of God

Come to think of it, none of the films I mentioned have english soundtracks, guess that just goes to show that Hollywood is lacking in the Horror Deparment, oh and by the way Silent Hill is directed by a French Dude, same guy who done brotherhood of the wolf...so no credit for hollywood there...

Yeah apparently Paris Hilton didnt invite her to a party and thats how it ended i think.

No paris had a party and nicole put in her sex tape in front of all the party guests and paris hates her for that... at least this is what i have heard...

ive read that they invited friends and press to see the p[ilot of the new series and ricthie switched the simple life tape with her sex tape. :p

looked it up on the internet- go ritchie, hilton deserved what happened to her.

why? why do people hate paris? what has she done? has she been cruel to someone? nobody hated her until the sex tape. Everyone has sex her boyfriend just showed how they had it. I hate that. people are like " omg she is a slut she did it omg " well so does everyone else does that make them all sluts to? i see no reason to dislike her so i dont... She didnt want that tape out her boyfriend brought it out to the public. I would not be someones friend if they did that to me. Must have been horribly embarassing.. its a pitty nicole killed a friendship that was there since they were like 3

Lew
23-04-06, 15:31
HAHA! what a prank :p so thats how it got out

jarhead
23-04-06, 15:34
well its not the sex tape that makes me hate her- it her :cen:in attitude. she gawps in the mirror and prances around like a princess when she a grown up. her sister should inherit the hotels and paris, thrown to the lions. shes acts like a spoilt brat and people like her cause shes ALWAYS the centre of attemntion. shes like one of those 'LOOK AT ME' 6-10 year olds.

does Aladdin count as a horror film?

I have over 800 DVD's covering all genres. (no copies).

I kept meaning to do a Film by Film review, but left it too long and i dont fancy starting now with so many to write.

A builder friend of mine has over 1500:eek:, but most of them are freaky foreign low budget horror movies as he's a Horror nut.:D

I only buy DVD's that i've watched and would watch again, i would never buy a DVD on the offchance that i may enjoy it(Blockbuster or not).

I'll sort out some kind of list, but not today as i'm celebrating West Ham reaching the FA Cup Final, WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO:D :yah: :tmb: :jmp:  ;)

:p that was a good movie! Some of you might remember a while back, (when we first got the sig thing on here) my sig was a line from Mansfield Park. "Run mad as often as you can, but do not faint."

My list of horror movies (as in scary or filled with gore):

- Cradle of Fear
- Audition
- The Exorcist: The Beggining
- The Grudge
- Dead Meat
- Cabin Fever
- Evil Dead
- The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (remake)
- House of Wax (horrible...)
- Darkness
- House of 1000 Corpses
- The Devil's Rejects (just for the sake of being a sequel)
- Anatomy 1 and 2
- Nightmare in Elm Street (all of them)

These don't really qualify as horror, in my opinion:
- Queen Of The Damned
- Interview With The Vampire
- Bram Stoker's Dracula
- Snow White: A Tale of Terror

And my dearies :p asian horror:
- Ju-On 2
- Shutter
- Ichi The Killer
- Audition
- Dark Water
- Uzumaki
- Suicide Circle
- Premonition
- Battle Royale
- Ringu

and that's what I remember, too lazy to look at all of them. Most of them were gifts as some of them aren't quite my taste in horror... but anwyay :p

Hope this is not too "Off Topic" SUGARPIE, but i was hoping for a little help in finding out release dates for two movies missing from my collection that have been released as Region 1 DVD's?.

Although i have a multi regional DVD player, i prefer to keep my collection Region 2, as i find if you swap what you watch on a regular basis, for some reason the DVD player cannot cope and the Region 1 movies in particular break up on screen(as well as other things).

Anyway the 2 movies are:

Major League - Charlie Sheen, Tom Berenger, Wesley Snipes, Rene Russo etc.

The Langoliers - David Morse, Dean Stockwell etc ( Stephen King adaptation ).

There are others that i am looking for, only it means another long search through the Halliwell A-Z of Movies(new edition), which lists every single movie(more or less), ever released, well up until the Book itself was released anyway.:D

Appreciate any help.:tmb:
