Any other coaster lovers here!?!? I absolutely LOVE riding Roller Coasters! I went to Cedar Point on Sunday and it was great fun! It was my first time there in about 3 years, so I was greatly in withdrawal! I rode on the Top Thrill Dragster which was the tallest and fastest in the world when it came out a few years back. I hear it's not anymore, but I'm still proud of myself for going on it. :D

here is a picture of the Dragster:

it's 420 ft high and shoots you off at 120 mph! It was wild! :cln:
What's your favorite Theme Park?

I love them too BlackGrey! You should def. try to go sometime!

I rode in the front car for a lot of the coasters this time! It is almost a completely different experience! Millenium Force was probably my favorite! Front car is the best!

Anyone else ever been to Cedar Point or even hear of it??

:yik: That looks like a killer roller coaster!
I don't fear speed and I don't fear height.
But combine both and you'll hear me scream for my life:yik::yik:
I think ELEN posted a while ago about a phobia list.can't find them.

I'm quite a coaster fanatic myself, and recommend a visit to Six Flags Magic Mountain to anyone visiting Southern California--it's in direct competition with Cedar Point for amount of rollercoasters.

I've been to quite a few parks here in the UK as well, and my fave by far has been Oblivion at Alton Towers. Short, but it's the only ride I've ever spontaneously screamed on :yik:

Only ever been on one rollercoaster in my life - Space Mountain at Disneyland Paris when I was about 11. Couple of years ago my school took us to Alton Towers - all the way there my friends and I were discussing what rides we'd go on and how awsome they would be - then we got there and they saw Oblivion and they were like "ah... didn't think it was that high... let's go get a Slush Puppie instead, c'mon". Couldn't go on alone, could I?

And Nemesis, also at Alton Towers.
I'm gonna be working so close to this place, how cool? I love those rides. But my favourite is the Tower of Terror at MGM Studios Florida:

I hate going on roller coasters! I haven't been on one since I was like 7-8, and that's the last time I plan on going on one. I'm not scared to go on them, I just don't like them. Ok, maybe I am a little scared. :p

Lonely Istari
11-05-06, 06:00
lol ILG, maybe you should give it another try! I mean, it would probalby be a different experience since you are not 7-8 anymore right? :p It might not be as scary to you now.

ILG49ers

It probably won't be as scary now, but I still don't plan on going on any roller coasters. :p
