Has any one heard what type of music is going to be on the soundtrack yet?

Probably something by Destiny's Child, for some reason I've got the beat of "Independant Women" in mind, hmm.. no wonder cuz I am listening to it as I write this. However, if they couldn't make a song for it, with lyrics that is, perhaps something purely instrumental with some variations of the TR theme music coming in would be great. I know exactly what music will be on it, cause simon west told us in an interviw.
The music will be like electronic dance, kinda like the theme to the blade movie.
Cool eh....

No unfortunetaly...simon wanted to make the movie have it's own feel.I think he made the right choice, if he put chart music on it, it just would have been another boring soundtrack which we could have just made our selvs.
Draco....it actually would have been cheaper to get chart music, making a whole soundtrack for the movie would have cost heaps.

Croft28> I never really looked at it that way. It's just to bad that they can't get some artist to write a new song just for the movie. It could have Simon's music in it and I'm not sure what kind of artist would be good to sing it. Now that would be really cool, especially if it would be one of the top songs on the chart. If your wondering why I'm so curious, it's because music is really important to me, and I don't want people to just think it's another soundtrack. When it comes to music I get really carried away. But any way, Simon said that the sound track would be all electric dance music?

I heard that there's going to be a VAST song on the soundtrack. I think this is great, because I love VAST. You might want to check them out at www.realvast.com. (http://www.realvast.com.)
Maybe you know their singles "Free" or "I don't have anything".
Oh well, back to lurking.
Has somebody heard when the soundtrack is going to be in the stores?

probably about the same time it goes on video. That is about when they normally do it anyway
