Somehow I missed the rule that said people must know more about Tomb Raider than anyone else. Like I give a $hit whether or not I knew Lara's shoe size or some equally ridiculous 'fact'. When it comes down to it, the only person who can say who and what Lara is would be her creator.
I enjoy the games and what of the movie previews I have seen, so why should it matter if I don't spend every waking moment constantly rebuilding my 'Raider Knowledge Base'. If you happen to know that stuff, then I congratulate you, but I am not going to waste my time and resources on TR except as entertainment. When my company goes public, I will doubtless have nearly no time for it at all.
What I saw of Angelina in the previews, leads me to the conclusion that she is more than likely adequate for the part.
I respect the opinions of everyone, to a point. When it becomes personal it is no longer a difference of opinion, but just another way for people to 'prove their superiority'.
In conclusion, I want to say: Reality is relative, people see the same thing in different ways. So the opinions over the movie are going to be diversely varied. 'The deed is done.'
PS: Being aristocratic does little for a person anymore. And my ancestry is full of that aristocratic crap. So Lara shouldn't be demeaned to it.
