Somehow I missed the rule that said people must know more about Tomb Raider than anyone else. Like I give a $hit whether or not I knew Lara's shoe size or some equally ridiculous 'fact'. When it comes down to it, the only person who can say who and what Lara is would be her creator.

I enjoy the games and what of the movie previews I have seen, so why should it matter if I don't spend every waking moment constantly rebuilding my 'Raider Knowledge Base'. If you happen to know that stuff, then I congratulate you, but I am not going to waste my time and resources on TR except as entertainment. When my company goes public, I will doubtless have nearly no time for it at all.

What I saw of Angelina in the previews, leads me to the conclusion that she is more than likely adequate for the part.

I respect the opinions of everyone, to a point. When it becomes personal it is no longer a difference of opinion, but just another way for people to 'prove their superiority'.

In conclusion, I want to say: Reality is relative, people see the same thing in different ways. So the opinions over the movie are going to be diversely varied. 'The deed is done.'

PS: Being aristocratic does little for a person anymore. And my ancestry is full of that aristocratic crap. So Lara shouldn't be demeaned to it.

Well tlr online,
I think when your read the 'those outfits' topic from Wildcat it will explain a lot....
But somehow I guess you already knew that.
I also totally agree with Draco.

I figgered I should say something. Too often these days with better and faster systems of communication, people in general get the Napoleonic spirit when dealing with people they never will meet in person. And secure in that knowledge, they feel compelled to be known on the global scale. Pity those with little to do other than wish they were more than that.

Im done with my two cents. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/redface.gif

I post what I post to keep things going on this forum. To make something to do for everyone else. It makes for a great time and I enjoy reading what others have to say. I will not stop posting till they kick me out of here. And I plan on posting more quizes to keep people intertained. There's my two cents.. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Wildcat,
I think it wasn't your topic that was the problem so don't feel personally attacked (that is, if you do) it's what it turned into.. A discussion about personal preferences and people trying to force their own ideas upon others...
There, that's my one cent, for what it's worth.. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
And Wildcat, don't stop posting, you're doing a fine job with all those quizes and excellent pictures of our beloved Lara! No one will be kicked out. They'll know when to leave when the time comes that no one takes interest in what they're saying and are generally ignored.....
I guess that was my other cent.... :D
