For those of you who have seen the movie, you know that the character of Alex (was that his name?) was kind of a love interest for Lara. I say "kind of" b/c he seemed interested but she didn't--although they hinted at some sort of a past between the too. That relationship will probably be explored further in the sequels. I think putting Lara in a serious relationship would be a mistake for the makers of the film. Lara is supposed to be unattainable. She's larger than life, I doubt any character the makers of the film could create would appear to be her equal(and that wouldn't be very entertaining at any rate--we pay to see Lara fight and go on adventures not somebody else). Plus she's so absorbed and intent on her work that I don't think she would ever really be able to focus on a relationship like that. Also, I guess (and I doubt I'm the only one who feels this way), there's a part of me that's sort of like the overbearing parent, the "no one's good enough for my Lara!" kind of thing. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
