I love the puzzles in this game; using cameras to find passwords, scanning dig sites for ancient symbols! So brilliant!
And I dont know what the hell people were saying about this game not being about tombs. It just builds up to the giant tomb which is much more interesting than TRL's 'teleporting to himalaya-tokyo' You get a real sense of the place and its very rewarding. I think the louvre and the archealogical dig site are the best levels so far.

its a great game! I am totally used to the controls now and they are no bother, but when I first started I was like 'ohhnooo i cant play this' :D

I like how you actually have to uncover the artefacts but reading notes and solving puzzles, in TRL its like a tourist trail; here is a tomb...seen it? ok lets teleport you to a himalyan monastry...and now appear in england. Its crazy.

I think the louvre and the archealogical dig site are the best levels so far.

Those are my favorite levels in AOD! There are also others I enjoyed but I won't tell you about them. I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise. :)

WOW This game keeps getting better and better! These tombs in AoD make TRL Ghana level look like a mini tomb. I climbed my way down the tomb, with that damned undead skeleton stalking my every move, I just jumped into the pit and ran! I heard a sword smashing rock behind me, keep going lara!!! Then crawling through a little hole to hide from it, hoping it wont follow >.<

Pull a switch, and then oh god I have to go back out there!! I could see its evil feet outside http://www.smileypad.com/v224/Sad/Noooo.gif
luckily I managed to go faster than it :D

then I open the trap door and get a nice shotgun (this is obviously anti-skele weapon!) and then another big WOW! when I see this long hallway, with dart guns at each wall, I run to the end, and was like ...okay that was really easy, but no the door is locked !! So i go back to where i entered the hall, and see a lever! Pull it and then im like , r u kidding I have to get through that! So I died the first time, but did it the second. go through some more doors and come to an even more amazingly beautiful hall! Its stunning! Anyway I stopped there.

As you can see I do quite like this game :D

...and the best thing about it was that I played it all myself and did not have to watch any cutscenes that make me press an arrow key.

TRL is like watching adverts. every 10 seconds some people are shouting at each other, then the next moment you are somewhere completely unrelated with a different set of people shouting.

I love AoD for the fact it doesnt try to be an interactive movie. It is a proper game and isnt afraid to make the player read words and solve puzzles! TRL thinks the player is so dumb they put two gremlins in your ear and make them shout at you throughout.

TRL has some beautiful locations like the waterfall in ghana, but there is no sense of acheivement because the game teleports you to the top of it, you dont have to find it yourself.

Anyway Im looking forward to the rest of AoD.
