As the release dates for the PS3 and the Nintendo Wii get closer, people are considering which one to buy, some might not be because they have already got the Xbox 360.

But which Next Gen console are you going to buy?

I live in the UK so i will buy the 60Gb PS3.

IMO the PS3 is best of the 3 then the Wii and then finally, the 360.

I'm also planning to buy PS3...

PS3 is definetly the best, everyone will surely agree, but it will be much expensive than the other two, so...

You can't even buy Xbox or Xbox 360 legally in Croatia...

It may surprise you to learn that i know quite a few people who don't think ps3 is the best, but i definitley think ps3 is best.

I just saw a tv programme this morning all about PS3 and Wii, and when they showed the Grand Tourismo HD, my eyes went

I'm still very much in love with my 360, it'll just be another console to add to the collection (once the funds become available of course)

I think all the next-gen consoles are great with lots of advantages over each other but I'd rather play on my PC :). But if I had to but a next-gen consle it would be the Xbox 360.

Whichever console has the most games that you like is the best one.

For me thats PS3. So I'll be getting a 60GB version, but not until the price comes down, unless a game that I cannot resist getting is released before that happens.

It's not illegal, it's just that Xbox hasn't got a representative company here; so you can buy it, but you don't get any warrant or customer support...

I'll be buying the Wii first and afterwards possibly a PS3. I'm looking forward to playing tennis in my living room :D .

Since I plan on getting the PS3, I'll say that one is the best of the 3. ;)

Well, if I earn enough money over the summer, hopefully I'll be getting the PS3... Only one I want, really.

well i have a 360 and have not looked, back heres why:

Live is absolutley amazing, Sony are going to have a hard time bettering that with there Playstation Network Platform, bit of a rubbish name really.

Also Sony have really lost a lot of there exclusives, GTA, MGS, FF, Oddworld and good old TR have all appeared on the Xbox, all sony have really is Killzone, which cant live up to Halo and GT which i think has a big rival in the likes of Forza and PGR3.

Some games developers have said that the PS3 is more expensive to programme for, due to it's Blu-ray, which will mean games will be more expensive and also some developers working on multi-platform games have said that 360 has that little more to give.

Sony really did themselves no favour in giving Xbox a year head start, Microsoft, example one of my friends who quite clearly said ' Xbox 360 are rubbish and im waiting for PS3' he got paid and went and bought a 360 and now is saying i wont bother with ps3.

Thats just my view on things, i never said that PS3 will be rubbish i have just relayed my opinions, i will play a ps3 and probably will get one, but it is my second choice. it has to be 360 for me.

There's a ton of technical and speculative stuff that you can get into when choosing between the two. But when I was still a young and ignorant casual gamer (has any of that changed?) and had to pick either PS2 or Xbox, I went for the former for one reason - ALL major Xbox games are ported to PC. If you happen to have a good machine then you're set. Lifespan of a console is longer though. Oh well, I don't want to dive into this now.

I'll be getting the PS3. I've been a Sony Playstation owner (both PSX and PS2) since the year 2000, and I won't be changing anytime soon.

Depends entirely on software as there is very little power difference between 360 and PS3.

I like both 360 and PS3 the same as they both have games which I am really looking forward to.

I already have a 360 and I'll be getting a Wii. I dont know if I'll get a PS3. I bought a PS2 on launch and sold it 2 years later. Very disappointed in the games and the technical ability of PS2.

That was 2002/3.
So you missed out on great games, and the current gen. games on PS2 are techniccaly very good:D

I sold it Nov 2004 but I keep an eye on what games were released. If anything came out that I really wanted to play I would have bought a new one. The PS2 is a good machine but last gen the Xbox had much more games that I was interested in playing.
